Unique. Each student learns differently. I design specific tools and methods to guide learning, master the material, and increase confidence.

Customized. The opposite of a one-size-fits-all approach. I deliver custom lessons tailored to you - your personality, your ability, and your one-of-a-kind challenges.

Personal. I get to know students on a personal level, and pay great attention to their strengths, needs, and opportunities for development.

I believe in a unique, customized and personal teaching experience for each and every student.

Helena received her Masters degree in math, geography and education from the Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic. After graduating and moving to the United States with her husband and two daughters, she spent over 20 years teaching math to students in California public elementary, middle and high schools. She also helped found one of the premier nonprofit foreign language schools in the Bay Area, and served as a teacher and board member there for over 3 years.

Throughout her career, Helena was always a passionate believer that each and every student has the potential to excel and be their best. This is why she ultimately decided to start her own business, Logika Marin in Novato, and apply her previous teaching experience to helping students reach their full potential through individualized tutoring.

"I am passionate about providing students with the individual help they need to develop and excel not only in their math class, but outside of the classroom as well."
